(as we prepare for
World Communion Sunday)
Come to us, Lord,
not to fill us to excess,
but to keep us hungry-
yearning for mercy,
thirsty for fairness,
listening for a lasting promise of hope.
We receive a tiny cup and a morsel of bread,
a fitting and necessary meal
in this world of need.
Galatians 3:27-28
As many of you as were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ There is no longer Jew or Greek, there is no longer slave or free, there is no longer male and female; for all of you are one in Christ Jesus.
